Hello! Has it really been a month!? I apologize for treating this little blog like a gym membership... I have felt guilty everyday for not keeping in touch. But, we have recently had a major life moment in our household and it bears sharing; Georgia's first sleepover! My oldest baby just turned four (cue the tears) and she is lucky enough to have found a friend who shares her birthday. Georgia and Clarissa are soul sisters and southern belles; to celebrate their friendship and their special day, we hosted a Troll party.
ย ย ย Georgia fell in love with the fun music, and bright colors of the new Trolls movie in the theatre and then constantly requested this theme for her next birthday. Her Birthday wish was granted and we had so much fun celebrating...
ย ย Now for the pictures!
She started her birthday with presents and pancakes. Her most exciting present was OBVIOUSLY the Trolls party pack blu-ray.
We rearranged our living room space for the big event, and it gave me an excuse for fresh flowers!
Our other big gift of the day was a Mommy-daughter trip to the nail salon! She picked a sparkling peacock blue...fearless and fun!
ย ย ย For the table I used all of Georgia's troll figurines scattered amongst some large and small Pom-poms in bright, fun colors!
I also made the little ladies some troll hair headbands with leftover tulle that was sitting in my fabric stash!
We moved our living room around to accommodate the girls toddler sized mattresses, and our sweet Land of Nod teepee and campfire set! The girls used every bit of the opened-up space to bounce and dance to the Troll soundtrack...
Our food for the evening included: chicken cheestix from our favorite pizza place, Karvelas Pizza Co. 15 Neighbors Dr. Hogansville Ga (shameless plug!), Troll Hair aka cotton candy, Mr. Dinkles worms aka gummy worms, chicken tenders, Branch water aka berry Fanta with Chia seeds and the birthday girl requested a carrot cake with pink cream cheese icing!
Also part of the rearrangement was the addition of our projector and super screen! It was like the girls had their own private theater...the birthday banner quotes one of the songs Princess Poppy sings in the movie; but it truly was a super fantastic day!
The girls and headbands in action were adorable to see...
Flower details! I tried to use daisies because the little ladies needed something fun and wild...just like themselves. I also used the pompoms to make Princess Poppy crowns around each daisy.
Tooo much fun! Thanks for reading and stayed tuned for another post (coming much sooner than the time this post took to produce...)! And as the Trolls say, "CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!"
