Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by to read! We have been busy at our little home. Vacations, auctions and holiday prep! I am catching up on some of the fun events we have experienced lately, and on today's docket we have a gorgeous First birthday celebration I helped plan for my beautiful niece Victoria, and her equally beautiful mom!
Top right: The smash cake was hand made by Victoria's Mom: she created the perfect little cake to set a top an antique milk glass plate. The sweet lace crown topper was also used at the Baby shower we had for sweet baby V, before she graced the world with her presence! Top left: I also loved the pink carnation border on the guests cake, with the chic "hobnail" icing border. Bottom: The sweet pink fringe we added to the butler tray was a tiny detail that delivered a cute impact!
Top left: Victoria's first birthday board turned out beyond sweet! I echoed the floral theme on her board that we used through the party. Top right: The sweet girl loved her cake; but she was a proper lady and took small bites...No messy cake moments here. Bottom left: The pale pink tulle skirt at the bar area was set off by the white Pom Pom trim: fun and sweet just like V! Bottom right: close up of the paper flowers!
Top: The centerpiece of the event was the paper flower banner hung above the brunch bar. The flowers were hand painted a shade of pink or crisp white, and they were arranged with the cutest felt doilies at either end. These flowers were giant! The largest blossom was over 3 feet wide. Bottom left: Giant pink balloons with tissue paper tassels added a pop of color and fun! Bottom right: The pink doilies over the sofa read, "Happy 1st Birthday" and was anchored by the same lace trim used to make Victoria's birthday crown!
The brunch bar included: Rotisserie chicken salad croissants, mini quiche, sausage balls with apple mustard dip, hash brown gratin, and a plethora of doughnuts!
The selfie station and photo props were a huge success!
Above: the photo station we created a backdrop of more giant paper flowers and the cutest "Love" "neon" sign! Below: the gold bamboo butlers tray held all the perfectly matched plates, cutlery and napkins.
This little birthday angel was definitely the prettiest decoration! I love how her lace crown turned out, and could she be anymore southern chic in her seersucker bib!?
Selfie station fun!
All of these photos will be beautiful memories of a beautiful party! Thanks for taking the time to stop and read! Now go and have a sweet day...
