Memorial Day Luncheon
May 29, 2017
Hello to everyone! Hopefully y'all are enjoying your Holiday weekend and the weather is cooperating. We had an early morning shower, but a semi-sunny and totally muggy afternoon!
Regardless of the wonderful Georgia humidity; the hubs was excited to enjoy some meat from his new smoker, so we planned a nice lunch al fresco for our little family! It is exciting still to use our freshly finished patio for any occasion, so I was very happy to grow together a fun little table for the festivities!
Silver cups, and gold stars! Just a fun little butlers tray to hold our cups, silverware, plates and napkins. Of course we needed the quintessential symbol of hospitality...a pineapple...to hold the napkins from the wind!
Smoked pork butt, grilled buns, homemade vinegar sauce, tropislaw, pasta salad and fresh fruit salad...
I used the awesome vintage fabric I found a while back and some of my giant star stash to make a festive and easy centerpiece. Of course a couple paper lanterns sealed the summertime feel of the table!
Stars and Stripes!
Thanks for stopping bye and reading. Stay safe and enjoy the hard-earned freedom this weekend!
