Magnolia's 3rd unicorn birthday fete!
January 28, 2018
Hello to anyone who is still taking time to read these posts... At the beginning of January, on the same day as the College Football National Championship, my youngest daughter turned 3! It was a much anticipated day because my husbands team, UGA, was in the big game. So we put together some fun decorations...unicorn themed per the birthday girl's request...and blew out the birthday candle at halftime!
Shades of pink and purple were an obvious; but I loved the iridescent metallic accents!
Sweet mantle and gift area complete with a neon "Love" sign and unicorn banner...
Who wouldn't love these darling unicorns?
Being a birthday party we had to have punch; Being that I am pregnant I got to satisfy a craving for cherry-limeade!
Her birthday cake featured fondant ears, and horn; and her cupcakes also sported some cute unicorn horns!
The football party side of things came in the form of delicious pizza and wings, but the unicorn side of things meant a rainbow veggie platter, and orange creamsicle fruit dip.
Iridescent goodie bags featured mini unicorn toys, stickers and unicorn flavored gum courtesy of Target's dollar spot and checkout lines! For the more masculine attendees there were adorable vintage style kazoos and harmonicas to take home. The plates and napkins fit the whimsical fun perfectly and looked adorable alongside the leaping unicorn decor!
The glittery table runner was made perfect with white and silver striped horns for all the party goers to adorn!
Next up will be another girly birthday with a Flamingo theme. These girls make my creative heart so happy! Thanks for stopping in and taking time to read. More posts coming soon!
